Offering both, reaction and rotating torque measurement sensors, FGP Sensors utilizes leading strain-gauge technology to meet the most demanding circumstances in static and dynamic applications.
Wireless rotary torque sensing
These strain gauge fitted units use wireless rf or induction loop technology to remotely condition and process sensor signals. They are ideal for monitoring rotating shafts and machinery. FGP’s telemetry torque sensors are available in ranges from 1 N.m to 10 000 N.m. and are able of sensing torque over a maximal rotational speed of 37 000 rpm.
Rotary torque sensors for continuous operation
Our non-contact torque sensors utilize magnetic or inductive technology to provide most accurate measurements at high rotational speed. They do not use support bearings or slip rings and provide long maintenance-free operation time.
High precision rotary torque sensing
Our rotary torque sensors are commonly used for in-line applications on rotating shafts. They offer an excellent immunity to electromagnetic fields and provide high accurate and reliable measurements.
Different connection types are available on request. FGP Sensors offers operating ranges from 2 N.m to 7000 N.m.
Accurate, conventional torque sensing
These general purpose reaction type torque sensors are suitable for industrial applications and fatigue testing. Due to non moving parts, they offer long term reliability. The sensing part includes most advanced metal foil strain gauges with superior thermal characteristics. The available models cover measurement ranges from 5 N.m to 10 000 N.m.
Two ranges in one
The sensors’ specific design allows to accurately measuring starting torque and lower breakaway torque of engine drives, within a single torquemeter. Additionally this type of sensor reduces the risk of damage from unexpected or accidental peaks.
Overload protected torquemeters
Integral mechanical stops increase the overload capacity of these torquemeters, ensuring additional protection during mounting and operation. FGP Sensors offers a variety of small capacity sensors suitable for dynamic and reaction torque measurements.
Simultaneously measure torque and force
The multi-component sensors simultaneously measure reaction torque and force with a single device. Optionally they can detect angle position and velocity. Years of experience enable FGP Sensors to customize a wide range of available models to meet your specific needs.
